I fell in love with the sport when I was just a little girl. At 9 years old I decided that I wanted to be like my father. I wanted to feel strong and mighty - just like him. Boxing was OUR moment. It's taught me the importance of a good work ethic, patience & commitment.

To this day, my family sets the foundation of who I am. My parents have taught me to be brave and chase the stars. My sister is my biggest hype-women, my little brother is my pride & my eldest brother is always there to listen when I need someone to talk to.
I am very opinionated, and some will even say I am PRETTY sassy. However, I do believe that most people are good, and that kindness & compassion goes a long way.
Growing up I was always one to take on new adventures. I would spend a lot of time imagining what the world was like outside of my own. Today, I get to see that world and discover new cultures, languages and perspectives. Adventure to me is taking a step outside of your comfort zone. It's about running towards the unknown with your arms wide open, accepting things as they come, one by one. Today my adventure is my journey towards the Olympic Games, but who knows where that might take me next.
